Follow the guide below to ensure that you complete all that is necessary for taking courses in the Broadcast Meteorology Program at Mississippi State University.
___ 1. Fill out the online Application for Admission and pay $40 application fee online.
___ 2. Request official transcripts from EVERY university or school you have previously attended. ** Your application will not be considered until ALL transcripts are received.
If you have attended college; please submit the following:
Official transcripts from each school attempted
ACT or SAT scores (may possibly be required, NOT required if you have already earned a Bachelors Degree)
High school transcript (may possibly be required)
If you have never attended college; please submit the following:
High school transcript showing graduation date
ACT or SAT scores
NOTE: We recommend that you should submit your online application and submit all necessary documentation (transcripts, application fee, etc) prior to 1 July.
___ 3. You will receive an letter of acceptance when you are officially admitted to MSU. After you receive this notification, complete Online Registration, using your RAC number as assigned by advisor.
___ 4. Periodically check the Textbooks link for an updated Book List. Textbooks are usually available for ordering 4 to 6 weeks before classes begins. Once the required textbooks are posted, order your textbooks following the given instructions.
___ 5. A shipment of DVDs and course instructions will be delivered to first Fall semester classes by UPS to the address you listed on your Admissions Application. All others may request DVDs. DVD request form.
___ 6.Follow the instructions provided in email regarding registration to start your courses.
___ 7. Start classes!
___ 8. Your student account information can be viewed online through accessing student Banner
