The M.S. degree in Geosciences with a concentration in Environmental Geosciences (MS-ENGS) was designed for students interested in graduate study of a broad cross-section of the geosciences. It is a 30-credit hour, non-thesis program offered both on-campus and through distance education.
- The 10-course, 30-credit hour program of study includes courses such as ocean science, climatology, Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and hazards.
- The MS-ENGS is reputable, accredited, and flexible.
- The whole degree can be completed online with the exception of the final capstone course. For this course, students may choose GR 8410 Field Methods Seminar, which is a field-based course or GR 8573 Research in Applied Meteorology, which is an on-campus workshop. Both options are offered during the summer semester.
