Distance Education Information Portal
The Mississippi State Library has created this information portal just for you, the distance student. You have access to a wealth of resources to help you with any project including research for your thesis or dissertation. Visit the Information Portal page for all of your research and resource needs. There also are video tutorials to help you perfect your computer software skills such as Word Formatting Tips & Tricks, Illustrator 101, and InDesign 101.

Digital Media Center
The Digital Media Center (DMC) offers online workshops and tutorials on a wide variety of topics including Photoshop, PowerPoint, and Excel. Visit the DMC website for handouts and videos on a number of topics. A list of current handouts and an online archive of videos is available for all distance students.
Library YouTube Channel
The Mississippi State University Libraries YouTube channel allows you access to videos on topics ranging from research methods to software tutorials.Some of the software tutorials include Camtasia, Microsoft Office Software, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. There are also videos on how to find online articles and books.
